Project Description

During the late fall of 2014, significant exterior renovations were underway on Canal Fulton Public Library’s (CFPL) oldest wing. Constructed in the 19th century, Tober Building Company (TBC) was contracted to perform the much needed facade renovations. Brisk temperatures that affected material applications and badly rotted, unsalvageable trim were pervasive issues.

Per client request, TBC began work in late September. Initially, weather conditions were ideal, with only occasional rain delays. Inevitably though, October’s cold mornings gave way to even colder November days, limiting our ability to apply paint and paint stripper.
